Martinology Comes Forth with the Fourth

Martinology is finally back! After hours of sleepless nights and numerous anxious moments (....close enough), we are finally back on board. Due to our new location in Cadillac, MI, dial-up was not doing it....until we finally got connected with high-speed. Of course, a lot has happened since we last shared. For one, we're expecting a baby in October, Heidi is pregnant, and we now live in Cadillac, MI. Christian's mom and dad came to visit for the 4th of July.....so here are a few images:

ABOVE: We had a drive-way fireworks grand-finale action of our own on the fourth, (Christian would like to say that they were going off right at his shorts, but they are approximately 13 yards away....) Here are some other pictures:

Christian and his dad, Carlos, did a major makeover of the backyard (dad gets most of the credit!) and we later enjoyed an outdoor picnic in our "new park."

Heidi showing a little something in the belly area!

Sleeping Bear Dunes:

There's very few things that beat eating a pizza half Greek and half Thailand Coconut Curry, talking Spanish, and proudly wearing Brazilian colors in the United State's independance day, while watching fireworks.....

FACES OF DURIAN

There's comes a time in the life of a young child when character must be challenged and courage enforced....that's when durian comes in. It had a presence and an odor at the Alpena Elementary School. Expressions are original, they have not been changed.

Going the Distance

When the line is drawn, warriors prepare. Focus, concentration, boldness, are all requirements for the track. Only one thought preoccupies the mind and that is going the distance.

The elements must be met, the sound waves controlled. It's only a matter of time and speed. Nothing else.

Cold is bold.

Final time: 22 minutes and 28 seconds
Place: 2nd in age group - 30 to 34
Facts that are immortalized to be known to all.

With the Pack in Lambeau Field

There comes a time when skin must show its true colors for the love of the game.
That day came when on December 21st, 2006, I stepped into Lambeau Field. A place where warriors walk and wars have been won since 1957.

Brett Favre, #4, game face.

The Fan. The Cheese. The Love.

Brett Favre, 285 yards passing

Time between plays is total concentration for the next.

Game winning field goal. Green Bay walks away with a 9-7 victory. A win is a win.

The field. The Rally Rag. The Packers. The Fan. Number 1.
